The Power of God's Word |

The Word of God is so powerful. For ages people have tried to poke holes in it and tear it down. And yet I am struck by how powerful it speaks to me today. How it speaks new life into me, and draws me closer to the voice of God. So many times God has brought me to a verse when I needed it most, as a reminder of His Promises. His Word challenges me to be a better man, better father, better friend…and most of all, a better son. He is our Father, and He is not an absentee father at that. He is actively involved in our lives. And actively speaking to our hearts - if we just stop to listen! Open up His Word today. What is it saying to you? What is God impressing on your heart? And how will it lead you closer to Him, closer to others, and closer to yourself? - PR
